Boarding Theme 2025

We can all have great ideas but they are no good if we don’t do anything about them. Inspiration is the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something. Like inspiration, ideas feed more ideas and then often we have to sort through them to see if they are relevant and resonate with something you feel compelled to do, to inspire you into action or in other words make your idea a reality.

What does this look like in boarding? Here are some examples. You have a great idea to organise an activity for your dorm then action this idea by talking with others in your dorm, your Heads of House and/or Boarding Kaitiaki or house parent, research the activity and put together a detailed proposal to submit. You don't like something in your boarding house? Instead of complaining about it, problem solve by talking with your heads of house and/or boarding kaitiaki, your house parent and put forward some solutions.

We are looking for to having a great year as we action our great ideas together and build and maintain our positive, collaborative, kind and empathetic boarding community.
