Waikato Diocesan School has a tradition of high achievement in NCEA endorsements; last year’s results were no exception.
In 2022, we had highly impressive provisional NCEA results, with 96.8% of our Year 11 students gaining their NCEA Level 1 certificate, and 80% of these students gained either a Merit or Excellence endorsement.
At NCEA Level 2 99.2% of our Year 12 students achieved this qualification with 72% gaining either a Merit or Excellence endorsement.
At NCEA, Level 3, 98.2% of our Year 13 students achieved this qualification with 70% of these students gaining either a Merit or Excellence endorsement. A total of 88.7% achieved University Entrance.
One hundred per cent of our students gained Literacy across all year levels, and 100% gained Numeracy in Levels 2 and 3, and 99.2% in Level 1.
Congratulations to all our students and staff. These results are strong alongside other decile 10 schools and well above the national average. We are rightly proud of our senior students, teachers, and staff who supported the students to such a high level of achievement.
