Parents Association News

Dio CommunicationsDecember 10, 2023

As the end of the year approaches, it is worth reflecting on what has been and looking forward to what is to come.

It has been a busy year of rebuilding the Parents Association, so we have a purpose, a clear role, and a voice in our school community.

The Parents Association aims are to:

  • Be a link between parents and the school

  • Provide social events and activities

  • Provide services to the school community such as refreshments at events, leaver bear sales, etc.

  • Fundraising as needed

  • Have fun doing all of the above!

As we look ahead to 2024, we are excited to have lots of plans and ideas to help achieve these aims.

Our first event is the Year 9 parents' drinks on the 16th of February. In March, we plan a mix and mingle for all parents, and on April 5th, we have our world-famous Dio Golf Day. Contact us at WDSGgolfday@gmail.com or register HERE to ensure your place at this great event.

The Parents Association wish everyone a safe and happy holiday. Stay safe, and see you all back next year.
