Across Kāhui Ako Maths Leader

Hi - I teach Mathematics and Statistics at Burnside High School. 

I became interested in Mathematics education in primary and intermediate years when I home schooled my children for 2 years and then followed with interest their experiences as they went to Wairakei Primary and Cobham Intermediate. I also enjoyed a period of time on the Board of Trustees for Wairakei School and taught Mathematics to intermediate aged students at St Margaret's College.

I have taken on this position in the Kahui Ako as I love Mathematics and am passionate about students learning and developing thinking skills in this subject area. My best email is rcm@burnside.school.nz
