Over the past few months we have had a number of Waimate High School students representing South Canterbury at basketball.  They are Elie Craig, Abbie Joyce, Sajin Tamang, Repo Perez, Emily Cooney, Kayla Proudfoot, Briar Craig and Sally Cooney.

They have competed in a number of tournaments.  These have been in Gore, Invercargill, Rangiora and Dunedin. 

These school holidays the South Canterbury under 15 and under 17 representative teams are heading to Rolleston to compete in the Mainlands tournament. Good luck to Sally Cooney, Briar Craig, Emily Cooney, Kayla Proudfoot, Abbie Joyce, Elie Craig and Repo Perez. Good luck everyone.

This weekend Elie Craig and Emily Cooney have been selected to represent the South Canterbury Womens team in a tournament in Gore.  Good luck girls.
