On a sunny and warm Tuesday afternoon this week, the Year 11PE class visited the Waimate Bowling Club for an introduction to the game and to get some tips on how to play.

As part of their current achievement standard, students have been trying a variety of physical activities to help identify factors which influence their participation in sport. This was a great opportunity for the class to experience something different from their usual choice of activity. Students showed a huge improvement with their bowling as the afternoon progressed. A big thanks to the members of WBC for their time and enthusiasm with the students.
