South Canterbury Basketball has some great opportunities coming up for Under 14 players.

South Canterbury Basketball is pleased to announce the upcoming U14 South Canterbury Basketball opportunities. Please pass these onto your students who are born in either 2012, 2013 or 2014, their guardians and with your school community. Attached are the posters for each opportunity and registration links are found below. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Opportunity #1 – U14 Rep Team Trials

If you were born in 2012 or 2013, you are able to trial for the South Canterbury U14 Rep Teams!

Trial Dates – Aorangi Stadium:

BOYS

• Trial 1: Sunday 13 July | 12:00 – 2:00 PM

• Trial 2: Tuesday 15 July | 4:00 – 5:30 PM

GIRLS

• Trial 1: Sunday 13 July | 2:30 – 4:30 PM

• Trial 2: Tuesday 15 July | 6:00 – 7:30 PM

Practices will be on Sunday afternoons during the season.

Opportunity #2 – U14 Rising Stars Programme

Born in 2012, 2013 or 2014 and love playing basketball? Our Rising Stars programme is all about skill development, teamwork, and having fun!

Open to all players – no trials needed. Just bring your energy and a great attitude!

Programme starts Thursday 31 July – Aorangi Stadium

BOYS

• Thursdays | 4:00 – 5:00 PM

GIRLS

• Thursdays | 5:15 – 6:15 PM

Rising Stars Festival: 20 & 21 September, a two-day basketball festival where participants play games across the two days featuring music, food, dress-up and spot prizes!

Cost: $150 – includes 2x programme T-shirts

NOTE – Players cannot participate in the U14 Rising Stars Programme if selected in an U14 Rep Team. If participants plan to register for the U14 Rising Stars Programme but are also trialling for an U14 team, please wait until U14 teams are named before registering for the U14 Rising Stars Programme.
