Kia ora koutou,

A very short update today.

We have been informed of one new student testing positive for COVID-19 today.  This brings our total number of positive cases at school to 5. This student last attended school on Friday 4 March. There is no change to our numbers needing to isolate as household contacts so our total remains at 5 students and 2 staff isolating.

Attendance has gone up again today to 78% which is encouraging as we continue to focus on the face-to-face delivery of our curriculum at Stage 1 of our COVID Response Plan. Tomorrow we will review our plan and I will advise then if we need to move to Stage 2.

I have attached two flowcharts to this article that will help people work out their isolation times if they are a household contact, or someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

If you have any questions or concerns then please get in touch. We are here, and more than happy, to help.

Take care,

Jo Hunnikin
