On Monday five Waimate High School boys travelled to Fairlie to play rugby in the Mackenzie College team against Inglewood High School in their sports exchange. 

Oliver Pankhurst, Lachie Dyson, Rua Taupo, Sam Hobart and Tate Hargreaves play in the combined Aoraki team with Mackenzie College students each week, so heading to Fairlie to play with them in their sports exchange was a great opportunity.

The boys played extremely well, it was a tough game but the boys fought hard.  Unfortunately losing 27-17.
