Congratulations to Oliver Pankhurst for being selected in the South Canterbury Under 14.5 Rugby Team.

The Under 14.5 South Canterbury team played 5 games in total. The first one was on the 3rd of September in Oamaru against North Otago, winning 81-5.

Methven hosted the Hanan Development Festival over two days. This was a fantastic tournament.  

South Canterbury came away undefeated for the weekend. 

On the Saturday they played Buller, winning 51-0 and Mid-Canterbury, winning 29-20.  

On the second day of the tournament, they played Ellesmere winning 36-5. They then played West Coast in the final, winning 43-10.  

Congratulations to everyone involved. It was a very intense and tough tournament! 

The South Canterbury team is made up of three Geraldine players and a mix from TBHS and Roncalli, with Oliver representing Waimate.
