🏀WAIMATE BASKETBALL ASSN COMPETITION AND PRIZEGIVING🏀
This year we entered 5 teams in the local Waimate competition. We had 3 boys teams and 2 girls teams. This is a great competition to grow and develop our young players as they are playing adults.
Both of the Waimate High School A teams made the semi finals.
The WHS A Boys finishing 4th in the competition played Shakers in a hard fought semi final. The boys playing their coach. Unfortunately the boys didn't make the final but congratulations on making the top 4.
The WHS A Girls finishing 3rd in the competition played Hot Chips in the semi final. This was a great game and the girls left it all on the court. Unfortunately they didn't make the final but congratulations to the girls for placing 3rd in the competition.
Thank you to all of the coaches Finley Keen, Nicole Cooney, Bruce Sew Hoy, Chris Thomas, Dana Paul and Jason Sew Hoy.
