On Wednesday 19 March, we welcomed Sandra Spence from the University of Otago, to our school. Sandra delivered an engaging presentation, showcasing the diverse range of subjects and courses, study pathways, and opportunities available at Otago.

The University of Otago offers over 140 subjects at the undergraduate level, allowing students to choose a major and optionally a minor, with flexible degree structures and a wide range of disciplines to explore. 

From academic excellence to an outstanding student experience, Sandra discussed how Otago supports students in achieving their goals. With a strong focus on community and well-being, Otago is the perfect place to make lifelong friends and memories!

Sandra encouraged students to get involved in Otago's extracurricular activities, social events, and cultural experiences. By getting involved, students can make the most of their university experience, build a strong network, and develop new skills essential for their future careers.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for upcoming tertiary events, including the Otago Tertiary Open Days on Sunday 4 and Monday 5 May, and Otago Tertiary Information Evenings on 10 June in Oamaru and 11 June in Timaru.
