Recently we have had Korfball New Zealand players in school doing some sessions with our Year 7 and 8 students as part of PE.
We then had the opportunity to take two year 8 teams to a tournament recently in Timaru. Both teams played extremely well and were evenly matched. They both made it through to the top four finishing 3rd and 4th.
There was a tournament team named on the day and the following students were selected in the 8 person tournament team: Olivia Carline, Briar Craig, Rachael Hodder and Santi Zimmermann.
