Last week our 5 basketball teams played their quarter final games in the South Canterbury Basketball competition.

WHS A Boys had a great game against TBHS 11A. It was pretty physical but we came away with a win, 45 - 40.  This week they will play TBHS in the semi final. Good luck boys!

WHS A Girls played Roncalli Varsity Blue. This was a hard fought game but we unfortunately went down 54 - 35. This was this team's last game of the season.

WHS B Girls played McKenzie College. The girls played well with great defensive play. Unfortunately they went down. They will have a playoff game on Friday for 5th and 6th. Good luck girls.

WHS Junior Boys played Ashburton College A. The boys have improved so much throughout the season and fought really hard and never gave up. Unfortunately they went down 67 - 30. They will playoff this week for a placing. Good luck boys.

WHS Junior Girls played Craighead B. These girls have also improved so much throughout the season, really gelling as a team now. The won 28 - 20. The girls will play a semi final this week against Roncalli B Squad. Good luck girls.
