As part of Junior Tournament week, we sent two teams to the SCRFU Beach Rippa Rugby tournament held on Thursday at Caroline Bay in Timaru. Playing teams from Waitaki Girls High School, Opihi College and Geraldine High School.

The day definitely showed us all 4 seasons in one day with our teams showing some great resilience.

Both teams played extremely well, girls going undefeated all day and the boys having a couple of good wins. Lots of tries were being scored, I would say most players scored a try. Showing that there was some great teamwork.

To finish the day the girls team played the boys team, providing some great entertainment.
