TRAPSHOOTING

Tackling the Skeet...
    by Emma Setterfield

On Tuesday after school, the Trapshooting Club headed out to the shooting range to have a go at Skeet.

This was new to most of us and was a bit challenging at first. Once we got the idea of where we had to stand, the different angles the clays were fired from and to have the gun ready at the right angle, we found it to be very fun.

It was definitely quite different to how we practice DTL and was a great opportunity to learn new skills. We even had our manager, Clayton, join in for some sneaky practice.

A big thank you to Keith, Dave, Mikayla and Clayton for mentoring us. We all really appreciate it!
