UNIFORM

We would like your help....It takes a village
    by Kellie Tagiaia

Last week we received lovely feedback from some people who were passing through Waimate who contacted us to say that on their journey through Waimate the came across some of our students who were very helpful and polite and they complimented us on how great they looked.

It was wonderful to hear such positive feedback. It is important to us that our students are good role models and wear their uniform correctly and with pride.

We would like your support from home to instill the same messages and ensure our young people are wearing our uniform correctly all the time. We are asking you to ensure your child follows our uniform rules:

- Shirts for boys (tailed) tucked in and socks up

- All senior students wearing their tie tightly, not hanging loosely

- Jewellery worn correctly - max of 2 studs in each ear, 1 flat ring, 1 bracelet, 1 necklace, 1 flat nose stud

- Boys are clean shaven

- Year 7-10 WHS PE Top & NAVY PE Shorts (not black)

- No chewing gum

- Black Puffer jacket

Thank you
