AORAKI SECONDARY SCHOOLS GOLF

As part of Summer Tournament week, on Monday, six Waimate High School students competed in the Aoraki Secondary Schools Golf Tournament held in Pleasent Point. The team was made up of Axyl Bailey, Jordy Sewhoy, Issac Prattley, Oliver Pankhurst, Zavier Paul and Josh Prattley. All the boys played well and really enjoyed themselves.

Golf can be a game of two halves, with both Axyl and Issac improving on their second 9 holes. Axyl shot under 100 for the third time ever, and to do it on a foreign course he has never played on was a pretty impressive achievement.

A huge thank you to Quintin Paul and Jess Bailey for taking the students to Pleasant Point. The boys had a fantastic day.
