AORAKI ATHLETICS

We had 12 students attend Aoraki Athletics held in Ashburton last Wednesday. All of our students competed extremely well and should be very proud of their results. 

We had 7 students selected from this event to represent the Aoraki region at South Island Secondary Schools Athletics coming up. 

A massive thank you to Mrs Bell and Rachel Lucas who came along to be officials, and to Rachel Lucas and Renee Batchelor who took transport with Ms Tagiaia to get students there.

Zaylee Davis - U14 Girls: 1st 100m, 2nd 200m, 4th Long Jump

Jayla Davis - U15 Girls: 3rd 100m & 200m

Elie Craig - U16 Girls: 1st Shot Put & Discus, 3rd Javelin

Erica Lucas - U19 Girls: 1st 100m, 200m & Long Jump

Oliver Pankhurst - U15 Boys: 2nd Discus, 4th Javelin, 5th Shot Put

Jayden Stevens - U16 Boys: 2nd 800m, 3rd 1500m

Jake Dyson - 1st High Jump, 4th 100m
