On the first day the Hanan side had a physical game against the tournament winners Otago, but in the end we’re not able to keep the strong Otago side out of the Hanan teams half losing 40-5.

On the second day they had a win over Canterbury 57-12 which was a great game showing the new connections between players had been made.

The third day they came up against Tasman playing for 3rd and 4th in an other physical and highly competitive game with the score 12-12 until Tasman scored and converted in the last 3 minutes with the Hanan team losing 19-12 coming away 4th in the South Island. Overall was a great weekend away with some great rugby being played and an awesome opportunity.
