We ended up winning the whole tournament beating all six other teams, the other teams were from Nelson, Blenheim and Christchurch and all play together regularly in an all girls league. Sammy Hill, Rachael Hodder and Erin Dee make up the Waimate defence and played as an effective unit for West End AFC letting in the least amount of goals. Aaleaha Reilly was one of the attackers and got 2 of the 4 goals in the 4 - 0 final win against the home side Marlborough.

The team also won the fair play award which is always a nice touch.

 Great job girls.
