CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS

Waimate High school students participated in a two-day Customer Service Skills programme held at the Waimate Events centre on Tuesday 2nd & Wednesday 3rd May. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the course and the NZQA accredited learning modules taught the students valuable skills in diversity in workplaces, communicating in a team or group, interacting with customers in a service delivery context, completing complex forms and providing customer service.

A huge thank you to Lisa Dobson and the Mayor's Taskforce for Jobs for inviting us to participate in this awesome opportunity, and thank you also to the course tutor Michael from Industry Training solutions. We look forward to further opportunities like this coming up for our Waimate High School senior students.
