AORAKI SECONDARY SCHOOLS JUNIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

On Tuesday we sent our Junior Girls (Year 9&10) Basketball team to Ashburton to play in the Aoraki Secondary Schools Junior Girls Basketball Tournament.

The girls played teams from Opihi, Ashburton and Waitaki Girls and in the played off for 5v6 they came up against another Ashburton team.  The girls came away 5th in the A grade.

A huge thank you to Finley Keen for coming to Ashburton for the day and coaching the girls, and to Emily Cooney for supporting and refereeing for the day.
