AORAKI SECONDARY SCHOOLS JUNIOR BOYS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

On Wednesday we sent our Junior A Boys (Year 9&10) basketball team to Timaru to play in the Aoraki Secondary Schools Junior Boys Basketball Tournament.

The boys played teams from Opihi, Geraldine and Ashburton.  In the semi finals they came up against Waitaki Boys and in the 3v4 playoff they played Ashburton.  The boys came away 3rd in the B grade.  Well done boys, you improved every game throughout the day.

A huge thank you to coaches Bruce Sew Hoy, Chris Thomas and assistant coach Kayla Briggs for coaching the boys and a huge thank you to Jordy Sew Hoy and Ken Calderon for supporting and refereeing for the day.
