OUTDOOR PURSUITS - MT SOMERS TRAMP

Last week’s cold snap lowered the snow level at Mt Somers to 700m and temperatures to single digits. 

This did not dampen the spirits of the Outdoor Pursuits class who took on the elements and had a blast! The highlight for many was crossing the saddle from the Woolshed Creek Hut to the Pinnacles Hut, which had loads of fresh powder, making it perfect for multiple snowball fights and the odd refreshment. 

The weather once again changed for us later in the tramp, with the sun and warm temperatures making an appearance. We are all looking forward to our next adventure in term 2.
