JAYDEN SCOTT
    by Sue Bailey

What years were you at WHS and what roles did you have?

I was a student from Forms 1-7 1993-1999. I was an average student but did excel on the sports field more than the classroom.

What have you done since leaving WHS?

I studied Architectural Draughting in Dunedin after leaving school. I lived and worked in Christchurch from 20-25yrs old. I completed a four-year OE, playing rugby and working around UK & Europe.

I came home in 2009 and started Scott Structural Ltd and have been involved with many major projects including Dunedin, Southland and Addington Stadiums, Christchurch Convention Centre.

I have two beautiful daughters.

What are you doing now?

I currently live in Rolleston. I spend my spare time riding motorcycles anywhere I can. I run a successful superbike race team on the national circuit.

My business is thriving. We are currently building the new Te Kaha covered multiuse stadium in Christchurch.

What are your best memories of WHS?

Best memories are sporting based with friends.

Metalwork with Mr Marshall, Sixth form (Year 13) common room antics, and hanging out in the Library. Mrs B was the best.

My favourite teacher was Mr Marquet.
