SOUTH ISLAND YOUTH RODEO

Last weekend the Waimate Rodeo Club hosted the South Island Youth Jackpot. 

It was fantastic to see students from Waimate High School give steer riding a go.  

Well done to Cameron Lane, Fergus Lane and Fred Cameron who rode in the Junior Steer. Fergus placing 3rd and Cameron placing 4th. Well done boys.

Well done to Faith Goodwin and Sally Cooney for riding in the Novice Steer. 

These students had training in the morning and then had the opportunity to ride a steer in the afternoon. 

Congratulations everyone, you did so well.
