Invercargill Tournament

Last weekend Waimate High School had 6 students represent South Canterbury at a pre season tournament in Invercargill. Each team played 3 to 4 games. 

Sajin Tamang was selected for the South Canterbury Boys Under 17 team.  They had some really tough competition in this grade coming away with a win against Eastern.

Ruby Shortus and Abbie Joyce were selected for the South Canterbury Girls Under 17 team.  They came away with two wins against Eastern

Repo Perez was selected for the South Canterbury Under 15 Boys A team.  They came away with two wins against the Southland teams.

Emily Cooney and Elie Craig were selected for the South Canterbury Under 15 Girls.  These girls came away with two wins against Southland and Otago.

The next tournament that these students will be competing in is Mainlands in Rolleston.  This will be held in the next school holidays.  Good Luck to you all.
