NORTH OTAGO UNDER 15 HOCKEY

Congratulations to Lachlan Matthews for being selected in the North Otago Hockey Team.  This team competed in the South Island Under 15 Hockey tournament in Christchurch in September. They played six games over four days. 

This year the team was coached by Mark Holthusen who coaches 1st 11 teams in North Otago and has brought his knowledge from coaching to regional teams in the North Island. Watching the boys skills grow this season was great.

They had an amazing time, played some great games and filled in there down time at the driving range, hydroslide, pizza and quiz night against the North Otago Under 15 girls team, and a Weet-Bix eating competition. 

Lachlan has played Hockey with most of the boys from North Otago over the years, learning to play while at Primary School in North Otago and competing in the North Otago Under 13 team for the previous two years.
