Kia ora everybody,

I hope you've had a good week.

A couple of highlights for me this week was watching the primary school district athletics on our school field on Wednesday! Always great to see our local schools coming together and cheering each other on.  Well done to all the competitors! Another highlight was going in to our Year 7 class to judge their Rainbow Warrior work - it was a very close thing but top honours went to Genna Hargreaves, Ash Osborne and Sammy Hill. Their model and information met the brief clearly explaining what happened in Auckland Harbour when the Rainbow Warrior was bombed. Good job team!

Finally just some housekeeping as we approach the end of the year. A reminder that we have 2 teacher only days on the 25th and 28th November so school will be closed on these days but exams will be continuing. It would also be really helpful to settle any accounts before the end of the year. If this will be difficult then please contact me as there may be some financial help available.

Best wishes to our Year 8s (and their teachers) as they head out for camps next week.

I hope the weather doesn't get too wet this weekend and you all find time to relax.

Have a good weekend,

Jo
