Where does our food come from? Why do we need to eat different kinds of foods to stay healthy and give us energy? What does our body need to stay healthy and happy?

  • Students explored the sources of the foods that we eat, and related this to their own nutrition and the need for a balanced diet.
  • Students explored why we need to eat a variety of foods every day, and how eating a range of nutrients from different food groups gives us the energy we need to live and grow.
  • Students explored the ways in which we can contribute to our own health and well-being.
