Recently our Year 13 students completed their annual Graduation Planting

Tasman District Council provided the plants, and Richard Hilton showed the students how to plant properly. Enviroschools Prashanti Lovegrove also helped.

Signage is being supported by Waimea Soroptimist International Waimea, who were also in attendance and gave a short speech. Envirogroup Leaders (Taylor Amer, Jaime Robertson and Ayaka Sugihara) were there to lend a hand and to give a short speech, as was Waimea College Principal, Fraser Hill.

Also in attendance were Natasha Hitchman, Gus Shirley, Matthew van Oudenaaren, Katrina Madill, Roger Waddell (who initiated the programme last year) and Envirogroup coordinator, Esther Hancock.
