While these events are permitted to go ahead under Level 2, Covid restrictions unfortunately mean that only award recipients and staff will be able to attend in person.

The Sports Awards (3 November), Arts Awards (4 November) and Principal’s Prizegiving (10 November) will be recorded for the school community to view. These links will be made public for sharing.

Our two premiere events, the Senior Academic Prizegiving (17 November) and Junior Academic Prizegiving (10 December) will be live-streamed to our school community.

Parents of award recipients will be notified prior to the events. If you are the parent of an award recipient and do NOT want your teen involved in the live-stream or in the recordings, please contact nicola.cruise@waimea.school.nz or 544 6099 ext 813 to discuss.

On the 17 November, all students, except for the prize winners, will be dismissed prior to the Academic Prizegiving at 12.00pm. Buses will depart from school at 12.15pm.

This is the last day for Senior students for 2021.
