New Waimea College Principal

Waimea College —

Today we officially welcomed Fraser Hill as the new Tumuaki/Principal of Waimea College.

Fraser has a wealth of experience in both teaching and leadership, having come to us from Rototuna Junior High School, where he served as Principal for the past 8 years. Rototuna is a large co-educational junior high school of 1300+ students on a Year 7-13 campus that is shared with Rototuna Senior High in Hamilton.

“I have been a Principal for 14 years and have been in education for over 27 years. I am proud of my achievements as both a teacher and school leader and look forward to sharing my experience and knowledge with the students, staff, and the wider Waimea community. I feel both excited and privileged to be taking on the role of Principal at Waimea College.”

Fraser’s strong work ethic, passion for growing people, and empathy towards others will make him a great asset to Waimea College.

He will be formally introduced to the whole school by the student BOT representative, Daniel Taplin, at assembly on Wednesday.
