Scholarships for Tertiary Study
Are you thinking about further study next year? Have you thought about applying for a scholarship or financial assistance that may be available? To find out what’s available, visit the Waimea CareerWise website which contains information on scholarships available to students in their first year of study, as well as links to individual tertiary institutions. Detailed scholarship information is also available through the givME and MoneyHub websites, which can also be accessed through the CareerWise site. If students see a scholarship they are eligible for they are encouraged to apply, as many tertiary scholarships are not awarded due to lack of applications!

StudyLink
Students thinking about further study after they leave school have a lot of choices to make. StudyLink’s website is a great place to find guidance and help on what you need to know and do when you’re starting study. Students turning 18 while at school may be eligible for a Student Allowance.
