Badminton
More than 20 students travelled to Motueka to take part in the TSS Badminton Tournament. It was a great day with lots of games. A big thank you to all those parents that transported students and managed teams on the day.

Squash
We had 15 players compete in the Tasman Secondary Schools Squash Tournament. Well done to everyone on what was an action-packed day with lots of games played. A big thank you to the team manager, Brendon, and to Nelson Squash Club for putting the day on.

Rogaine
Our Senior team of Cassie Cameron and Danyon Oakes, and Intermediate team of Zoe Bonny, Isla Hill, Cameron Lukey and Joseph Cameron both won their respective grades at the recent Tasman Secondary Schools Rogaine.

Futsal
This year the Futsal champs were split over two days, catering for Juniors, Seniors and AWD. We had 10 teams entered in this event in total. Well done to the Waimea Wahine team for winning the girls competition.

Marlborough Girls College Exchange
Our Junior Basketball and Senior Netball teams travelled to Blenheim earlier in the month to take part in the first of our annual school exchanges. The girls played some great games, winning the Basketball and were closely defeated in the Netball.

Equestrian
Three teams travelled to Marlborough to compete in the Tasman Secondary Schools Equestrian Champs. The Senior team of Annie Baird, Adele Chaplin, Holly Currie and Keely Moir won the Horse Mastership Award and finished 3rd overall. Annie was also presented with the Best Rider Award.

Cashmere Exchange
Five teams travelled to Christchurch to take part in the annual school exchange with Cashmere High School, which first took place in 1959. It was a fantastic trip with hockey, football, netball and basketball competing. A great big thanks to Cashmere families, students and staff for looking after our teams. Unfortunately, we didn’t retain the shield, but are looking forward to hosting Cashmere next year.

Netball
Well done to Taylor Amer-Mitchell who was recently named as the reserve umpire for the U16 Tupuranga Netball Championships in Christchurch.
