Waimea Intermediate is again this year being involved with boxing fitness at Victory Boxing. This will run during the last module as well as sport and we would leave at 1pm and return by 3pm to school. We hope to start on Friday 3rd of March.  

Paul Hampton, a knowledgeable instructor and past Deputy principal of Victory school, will run a 10-12 Lesson programme looking at fitness, values and student wellbeing (please see website for details).  www.victoryboxing.org.nz

Applications are now being taken for any students interested and for parent/caregivers who could regularly take students (we have a van that takes 11 but with transport we can take around 20).

There will be some students returning from last years group who are still in the process of earning their Victory boxing singlets or to be mentors for new students, the remainder will be selected from applications via a ballot.

The cost for the 10 week programme is $25 per student if this is a problem please let me know as we have fundraising in place to help out (No money is required yet!).
