Mixed Social Slo-Pitch League: Nelson softball is very excited to be able to offer you the opportunity to enter into this league this season.

Slo-pitch is a modified game of softball for ages 13 years and up. Basic gear is supplied on the day and the focus is on fun and participation for all.

Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure Jr follows all your favourite friends as they escape from New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar. 

“The new songs and music in this show are infectious”, says the show’s director, Richard Carruthers. “Everyone knows the song ‘We like to move it’, but the rest of the songs in Madagascar are just as much fun for actors and audience alike, and the storyline bounces along with a pace that leaves no room for distraction or boredom, even in the most restless of children!”

Nelson Yacht Club

The sun is shining, the sea is warming up and the sea breezes have started early! We have a number of different training courses running in the Spring school holidays. These are 5 days, Mon-Fri, 9am till 4pm, and we have different groups for different abilities and ages. With a whole season ahead it is a fantastic time to get on the water for the first time, or to blow off the cobwebs and get back into it!

Table Tennis School Holiday Program October 2018

Tuesday 2nd, Thursday 4th, Tuesday 9th and Thursday 11th, 09:30 – 12:00 at Saxton Table Tennis Stadium. 

Cost is only $5 per session or $15 for all four sessions. Bats and balls provided. Bring something to eat and drink for a short break at half time.
