On the last Thursday of term, 16 WIS students competed in Nelsomathix (a regional maths competition). We had two Year 7 teams and two Year 8 teams competing.

Congratulations to one of our Year 7 teams for winning the competition! It was an exciting race between 15 teams from across the Nelson/Tasman region. Congratulations to Alice Cameron, Arabella Duncan, Sam Hulleman and Seb Brownrigg. They won a certificate each, a medallion each, and a trophy to keep for a year.

Although our other teams were not placed, they should be proud of their efforts on the night and during the many weeks of preparation leading up to the event. We are proud of you all.
