WIS Writing Competition - Term 2, 2022

Guidelines

• Any text type (poem, description, characterisation, a moment in time, advertisement, instructions, letter…).

• It must be your original writing.

• A maximum of 200 words.

• Handwritten or typed.

• Hand a hard copy to Miss P. in Room 3 by 3 pm, Friday, Week 5.Have this entry form stapled to it please. Only hard copies accepted.

• You can only enter once.

• All short-listed students will receive an award.

• The winner will receive a cup to keep at home for a term.

Judging Criteria

• Vocabulary and phrases/sentences

• How interesting/creative

• How well edited (spelling, punctuation, meaning, vocabulary and grammar)
