Tennis
We have some very talented sports stars in our school and one of them is Liam Howes. He has been selected to represent NZ in Australia at their teams event in the 11 and under grade. Only top 3 boys and 3 girls make this selection. NZ 11u boys ended 5th. He spent 3 weeks in the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
He then played the Rod Laver lead in tournament,
he lost in the final in a very close super tie break. He also played in the Rod
Laver State junior championships, winning his grade, boys 12 and under grade.
Well done Liam!
