Waimea Intermediate's "Goldrush" Cross Country will be held on Tuesday 14th June on the WIS grounds

This year we are running the school Cross Country at WIS. This will be a fun filled day with a Spiral class relay in the first block, Competitive run in the middle block and then finish the day with a fun run after lunch.

Timings for the day:

9.45am - Yr7 Spiral Relay

10.15am - Yr8 Spiral Relay

11.40am - Yr7 Girls Competitive Run

12pm - Yr7 Boys Competitive Run

12.20pm - Yr8 Girls Competitive Run

12.40pm - Yr8 Boys Competitive Run

1.30pm -  Yr7 Fun Run 

2.15pm - Yr8 Fun Run

We hope all students will be participating on the day as there is a race for everyone, 

All students that are taking part in the day can come to school in your team colours for students that are not participating they come in school uniform.

Spectators are more than welcome on the day.

The top 16 Competitive runners in each age group will then go on to represent WIS in the interschool events. InterSchools Relay  Friday 17th June and the InterSchools Individual Race Friday 1st July, both of these will be run at Rabbit Island. Emails will be sent home to the top 16 runners on Tuesday afternoon with an online form which will need to be completed that night with all the info that is needed for the interschool events.
