Maori Fried Bread
Cooking with Whaea Jo

Room 23 we were lucky enough to go into the Foods Room to make some Maori bread. Most people said it was delicious. We started with some bread dough and some flour. We grabbed a cooking tray and put the flour on and put the dough on. Next then we grabbed a rolling pin and rolled it out to 1cm wide and then chopped it into 14 pieces. Whaea Jo and Mrs Lee deep fried them, after a karakia we ate them, yum yum yum. Some people took some home to share with their whanau.
