Christmas themed Casual Clothing Day - World Vision Fundraiser

Bonnie Hughes —

Waimea Intermediate are hoping to raise $1,600 to provide a community in need with a fresh water supply through World Vision’s Smiles Gifts. We are having a Christmas themed Casual Clothing Day, a Bake Sale, and selling Juicies. This is all happening on Friday 3rd December

What Impact will this Gift have?

Providing a whole community with fresh water would be AMAZING. Clean water will give kids and their families clean, safe, disease-free water to drink, bathe in, and wash dishes and clothes. This gift can help protect an entire community from life-threatening waterborne diseases.

Casual Clothing

On Friday 3rd December, students are encouraged to wear something Christmassy with a gold coin donation. We will have a few spot prizes for the most Christmassy looking people.

Bake Sale

At interval (10.40) on the day, we will be selling baking in the canteen. If any brilliant WIS students could bring baking for us to sell on the day that would be very much appreciated. If you are bringing baking, could you please write your name and what you are baking to the form in your class.

Juicies

Tasman Bay Food Company have kindly donated Lemonade juicies. We are selling these at lunchtime from 12.45 in the canteen. They are $2 each.

We will be selling any leftover juicies on Monday 6th December.
