Roadworks in your area From 8 pm on Friday 4th November to 5.30 am on Monday 7th November, Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency will close State Highway 6 Whakatu Drive, between Annesbrook Roundabout and the Salisbury Link Road/Raeward Roundabout, Richmond, for pavement resurfacing works.

Following the resurfacing works, there will be three nights of road closures between 8 pm and 5.30 am from Monday 7th to Wednesday 9th November for sweeping and road marking of the new road surface.

We are closing the road over the weekend when traffic numbers are lower. It means resurfacing works can be completed in the shortest possible time and with as little disruption to road users as possible.

Main Road Stoke has been temporarily approved for all vehicles for the duration of the closure.

Temporary speed restrictions will be in place, and traffic management staff will control traffic.

How will this work affect you?

While we always aim to do our work with as little disruption as possible, we know that roadworks can be a hassle. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you.

If you have difficulty getting to or from your property during these works, please don’t hesitate to contact Fulton Hogan staff on site. They will assist you in any way they can.

For your safety and the safety of our road crews, please drive carefully and stick to the temporary speed limits that may be in place.
