20 students went to Motueka last week to represent our school at the annual Blue Light Police Challenge

With 62 teams competing in a variety of challenges including an obstacle course, a truck pull, rock climbing, quizzes and memory tests it was a busy event showcasing students who actively collaborate and problem solve on their feet.  WIS blue team (Jobe, William, Alice and Grace) were placed 3rd overall with all four of our teams showing great teamwork and communication skills alongside their physical fitness.

Students involved were Maia Kininmonth, Lydia Inglis, Annabelle Swain, Annabelle Beer, Lucas Trench, Lucas Bartlett, Nathan Downey, Matthew Peacock, Chia Nagahama, Micaya Heynekamp, Jobe McAuley, William Seymour, Grace Cliffe, Alice Mitchener, Loretta Badley, Harry Horncastle, Harriet Brooker, Oscar Perrot, Maddy Armstrong and Lexi Hall.
