School Sores (Impetigo)
There have been a case of School Sores at school this week.
Early signs of Impetigo are scabby sores on exposed parts of the body and are very contagious. If you suspect your child has Impetigo please keep at home until 24 hours after treatment with antibiotics or until sores have healed. This disease is spread by direct contact with discharge from infected skin. Time between exposure and sickness is usually 7 - 10 days.
