Winter Tournament 22 7 23 August

WINTER TOURNAMENT

Individual sport draws

The annual Winter Tournament consists of schools from the top of the South Island and will be competing in 9 different sporting codes on Thursday 22nd & Friday 23rd August.

All students that were selected in teams should have been sent an email or been given a paper notice for parental permission and billets. Thank you to those that replied promptly.

Most of the events are held at Saxton Stadium/Field complex apart from rugby which is at Tahuna playing fields, football at Avery (Garin College) and mountain biking at Silvan Forest.

Students will travel to their sport by bus which will depart at 9am sharp, apart from football teams that walk and mountain bikers who make their own way to the venue.

Play starts for most sports at 9.30am and finishes at 2pm on the Thursday, Friday finishes at 1.30pm. Students will return to school for a special assembly and sharing their experience with the rest of the school.

Thank you to all that have offered to host billets, we have had a great response this year. Mr Bruning will be in touch soon with more details. Billets will travel to their sport with their team.

We encourage all parents and family to support the students and wish all participants Good Luck for a fun filled two days of sport!

All draws and results are available on the NISSA Facebook page:
