2016 WIS Wearable Recycled Art Show
Last week saw the annual WIS Wearable Arts Show presented to the school.
Many weeks of preparation, imagination and a lot of hot glue sticks went into creating these outstanding outfits. The students created their outfits as part of a module programme. The following outfits used a variety of recycled materials. There was no limit to what could be reused or recycled.
Photo above: First place: “A Writer’s Dream” by Natalya Scott in Room 1. This design was carefully constructed out of recycled book pages. The lights in the design represent a writer’s ideas and inspiration. This design also features paper houses and folded paper flowers.
