In Room 23 we are learning about "Change" and how WAR can create change. We also used this theme to inspire our writing.

We used the beautiful picture book entitled The Red Poppy by David Hill to write "a moment in time" inspired by the book. 

We focused on using what we see, hear, feel and think as we read the text.  We also had a super challenge which was to include a super sentence that includes an adjective, an interesting verb and an adverb. We then published our work in an interesting way. We hope you enjoy our writing and our artwork.
